Again and as if it were the first time: the girl in red will come to Prague with a new album

I’m Doing It Again Baby! Perhaps not even Marie Ulven aka girl in red could have come up with a more appropriate name for her second album. And they will present it in Prague in September. The title of the first single Too Much is as straightforward as the title of the entire record: “All my life I’ve been told I’m full, but I’m tired of being tamed.”

She spent the past year in the studio, on tour with Taylor Swift and at festivals, soon after the release of the record she will finally embark on an extensive European tour. She sold out her first concert in Prague in a few minutes, but in the end we couldn’t make it due to problems with Maria’s vocal cords. Now he is in the best form and on September 23, 2024 in the Karlín Forum it will be released!

Tickets priced at 1,090 crowns will be on sale from March 15 at fource.cz and in the Ticketmaster and Ticketportal networks. Fource Friends membership will have access to them two days earlier. Just register on the fource.cz website. I’m Doing It Again Baby! will be released at the beginning of April, the girl in red will take us through the last years of her life. They have always been close to their fans, the girl in red’s lyrics come from the heart – and she is just as loyal and honest to her queer identity. Without caring what anyone thinks of her, she sings about her broken heart and new desires: “That record is more fun, playful and a little more confident. I’m not playing it safe, which is important.”

Too Much describes the rebellion of a person who no longer wants to tame his emotions and submit to the expectations of others: “I was scolded growing up for experiencing my emotions, it made me feel alienated and strange. When I started experiencing this in relationships, I realized that I had had enough and needed to stop hurting myself. The time has come to accept myself as I really am.“
