IDLES announce their return to the Czech Republic after a stormy performance at Rock for People 2025! They will prove to the audience on July 7, 2026 at Forum Karlín that they are angrier, more urgent and bolder.
With two albums that ranked first in the UK charts, including TANGK (2024), they have risen from underground darlings to a globally recognized band nominated for a multiple GRAMMY award. Now they are conquering the film industry with their first attempt at an original soundtrack for the film Caught Stealing (2025) by Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronfosky.
IDLES emerged from the dark holes of the British port city of Bristol to shout their fear, anger and concerns about the world around them on the ruins of the dying indie scene there. The band's genre oscillates somewhere between rock and punk. They combine the fury of post-punk and punk rock with a moody instrumental assault that matches the determined threat of the lyrics. Their music is raw and honest to the core, and the band uncompromisingly squeezes sweat and blood from their fans and themselves at concerts.
